Brewer Craig Cauwels is excited to brew
imaginative and very tasty Beers. He has earned 22 ribbons at the California State Fair and 9 medals at the Great American Beer Festival™ and World Beer Cup in recent years. Craig skillfully brews
on our State-of-the-Art 15 BBL system. We offer five"House
Brews" and one or two rotating "Specials". Schooner's
has a flavorful lineup of hand-crafted Beers, temptingly tasty to wet any Beer
palate.

We rotate our Irish and Oatmeal Stouts. Both are
characterized by their dark color and
roasted barley/chocolate flavors. While the Irish Stout is dry and intense, the Oatmeal Stout is softened with the addition of oatmeal and more risidual sugar.

mighty Ale has a medium maltness and body with an assertive hop flavor and aroma.
It's dry-hopped for an incredible floral and citrus hop bouquet that contributes sweet notes to the final product. Over two pounds of hops per barrel goes into every batch.

ENGLISH RED ALE
2004, 2005, 2006 California State Fair, 1st Place, Blue Ribbon Winner! This English influenced Ale uses generous amounts of Maris Otter, Crystal, and Dark Malts to produce a beer that is richly coloured (it's English influenced isn't it?), yet smooth and easy to drink. The subtle influence of Goldings Hops provides the perfect balance to this beer's malty backbone that embraces flavors of toast and caramel.
